SEGRO strengthens its team in Silesia
As part of the company development in the Silesia region SEGRO, Europe's leading owner-manager and developer of industrial property, has enlarged its team with a new employee. On 1st November 2012 Katarzyna Biela joined SEGRO's team in Katowice as Junior Leasing Manager.
Katarzyna Biela graduated from Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice (currently University of Economics in Katowice). Prior to joining SEGRO, she has been active in the real estate and construction industry for almost 15 years. As an investment specialist she was responsible for coordinating the process of land acquisition for large public utility facilities all over Silesia. She has also gained a wealth of experience in project management and commercialisation process. In a newly taken up post in the company she is responsible for working on SEGRO's portfolio in the region.
"Silesia region is one of SEGRO's key locations. As the company portfolio in the region comprises almost 200 000 sq m of delivered space and continues to rise, we decided to strengthen the team responsible for developing our estates in Silesia. We are glad to welcome a new employee with broad experience and expertise in the local real estate market," Joanna Janiszewska, SEGRO's Regional Director Silesia comments.
In her leisure time Katarzyna Biela is actively involved in charity work, as she supports a foundation helping families with prematurely born children who require professional care in their early days.
