Partner of Promotion's COP 14 campaign was recognized as the best "Social campaign 2008"


The educational activities 'Change your habits for good ones! Change the climate for better one!' conducted by Partner of Promotion for the Polish Ministry of the Environment were awarded in the competition for the best 'Social campaign 2008', in the 'Public institutions and governmental organizations' campaigns' category. The activities realized for both the COP 14 Climatic Conference and the climate changes phenomenon were appreciated by the jury for their variety and innovation of implemented communications tools and the strong support of the social attitudes towards the natural environment protection.
The main goal of the awarded campaign 'Change your habits for good ones! Change the climate for better one!' was to educate the Polish society on climate changes and to encourage them to take up the activities counteracting this negative phenomenon. The PR project preceded the United Nations Conference on Climate Changes and was realized on the order of Polish Ministry of the Environment.
The 'Social campaign" competition is organized by the Social Communication Foundation. Its main goal is to promote the best social marketing practices, that should inspire the authors of the future campaigns. The notified campaigns are awarded in five categories: civil initiatives, trade institutions' campaigns, public institutions and governmental organizations' campaigns, the commercial companies' campaigns and political initiatives.
