Two Golden Paper Clips for Partner of Promotion


Partner of Promotion was awarded two main prizes in the 'Golden Paper Clips 2009' awards organised by the Association of the Public Relations Companies. Campaigns: "Change your habits for good ones" and "Poles' Simomania" were chosen winners in their categories (respectively "Effectiveness" and "Product PR") of this year's edition of the contest. The Golden Paper Clips are the most prestigious Polish PR awards.
The main goal of the victorious campaign "Change your habits for good ones'" was to educate the Polish society in the field of climate changes and at the same time to encourage Poles to undertake activities limiting this unfavourable phenomenon. The project preceded the UN Conference on Climate Changes and was conducted on behalf of the Polish Ministry of Environment. Nearly 20 special events and actions supported by the intensive information campaign were carried out as part of the PR campaign. Owing to the modern and integrated communication activities it was possible to provoke the national discussion on the subject of climate changes as well as to encourage the society to undertake the proecological activities every day.

The second campaign awarded the 'Golden Paper Cip' was "Poles' Simomania". It was conducted in cooperation with the game's producer - Electronic Arts Poland. The main objects of this project were to draw interest of the highest possible number of people to "The Sims 3" several months before its official premiere and to gain the new enthusiasts of the "sim world". Therefore the key elements of the communication strategy were the right dosage of the events preceding the game's premiere and cooperation with Agnieszka Chylinska - the game's great fan and a celebrity. Thanks to such planned campaign "The Sims 3" became the most awaited game of the year and two days after its premiere, the game's sale amounted to over 65 thousand copies!

This year, in the 7th edition of the 'Golden Paper Clips', Partner of Promotion received 4 nominations. The other nominated projects were: "Virtual football - FIFA 2009" in the "Commercial Event" category and again "Change your habits for good ones" this time nominated in the "Social Campaign" category.

The "Golden Paper Clips" organized by the Association of the Public Relations companies aim at selecting the best PR projects in particular categories. The main object of the initiative is to raise both the standards of the offered PR services as well as the knowledge level of the sector specialists. The competition is open, which means that any company conducting PR activities in Poland may enter it.
